Where to find Bulgaria's child vaccination schedule
Bulgaria has a national vaccination schedule, and the EU's disease-control agency ECDC publishes it alongside other EU/EEA countries in one place. Because ages and doses can change, we give no figures here; read the schedule from the official tool and confirm it with your child's doctor.

Where to look up the schedule
ECDC's «Vaccine Scheduler» page lists the vaccination schedules of EU and EEA countries; Bulgaria is in the country list, and the «Child» and «Adult» age groups are chosen separately. The page itself says its information is based on data reported directly by Member States, may not capture every nuance of national policy, and that national public health authorities may issue additional or more detailed guidance. Treat the tool as a starting point and confirm with the national authority.
Comparing countries and searching by disease
- The «Compare» tool puts two EU/EEA countries' schedules side by side; Turkey is not in the list, so a comparison with Turkey cannot be made in this tool.
- The search by disease (for example measles, diphtheria, hepatitis B) shows in which countries that vaccine is in the schedule.
- The page points to the European Vaccination Information Portal (EVIP) for the benefits, effectiveness and safety of vaccines.
Your child's doctor and registration
The NHIF (НЗОК) website offers three registration forms for choosing a general practitioner (общопрактикуващ лекар, ОПЛ): initial choice, permanent choice and temporary choice. The page also links to online selection and a «check your doctor» service. It does not say where or by whom your child is vaccinated, nor what appointment or health-record requirements apply to the schedule; discuss that with the doctor you choose. These pages also do not say how a child's vaccination record from Turkey is recognised; take the documents to the doctor and ask whether an official translation is needed (general suggestion).

Frequently asked questions
Are vaccinations compulsory in Bulgaria?
These pages do not explain compulsory status; the ECDC tool only shows the schedule. Ask your child's doctor and the national health authority about requirements and exceptions.
How do I choose a doctor for my child?
The NHIF website has separate registration forms for initial, permanent and temporary choice and a link for online selection. Document and timing requirements are not on the page; confirm with the NHIF.
